Consultation Overview

The SDAC Products Methodology concerns products and order types that can be taken into account and used when submitting sell and buy orders in the SDAC as provided for under Article 40 (1) of CACM.

In accordance with Article 40 (3) of CACM, to ensure that the terms and conditions on SDAC products continue to meet their objectives, the NEMOs shall consult market participants at least every two years to ensure that available products reflect their needs.

Currently in force SDAC Products Methodology is referring to the ACER Decision 13/2024, NEMOs are now consulting the Market Participants and Stakeholders on their proposal of keeping the current SDAC Product Methodology provisions unchanged, considering the relevant analysis on products usage.

NEMOs are also providing a dedicated survey for collecting the input of the respondents in specific relevant questions.

Why We Are Consulting

Any amendment of CACM Terms, Conditions or Methodologies needs to be submitted for public consultation for at least one month (pursuant to art 12 of CACM) to consider stakeholder´s views on this reviewed proposal.
